Last chance: Fans scramble for tickets to Nicholas Tse’s added Kai Tak show
Tickets for the final added show of Nicholas Tse Ting-fung’s Evolution Nic Live concert went on sale Monday at noon via Cityline, following overwhelming demand for his previously announced performances.

The pop icon will perform a total of four concerts at Kai Tak Stadium from April 24 to April 27, marking his first solo concert in 25 years, with tickets priced at HK$680, HK$980, HK$1,180 and HK$1,380.

The surge in demand has sparked concerns over scalping, with reports of resale tickets being listed online for as high as HK$170,000.

Emperor Entertainment Group chief operations officer Mani Fok Man-hei earlier had urged fans to avoid inflated resale prices, stating: “We’re thrilled by the support for Nicholas, but we encourage everyone to purchase tickets rationally and not fuel the scalping market.”

Tse, now 44, made history in 2000 as the youngest Hong Kong male singer to headline six shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum with his Viva Live concert at age 20.

A quarter-century later, he returns as the first Asian artist to perform at the newly built Kai Tak Sports Park, Hong Kong’s largest venue.

Fans’ anticipation has been building since teasers for the concert were released, with many expressing excitement over social media. “I’ve waited 25 years for this!” one fan wrote, while another declared, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance — I must get tickets!”

Tse also filmed his latest music video Retrograde at the Kai Tak venue, offering an early glimpse of the state-of-the-art stadium.
