After a 25-year Hiatus, Nicholas Tse to Perform at the Kai Tak Stadium in April
Cantopop star Nicholas Tse will be the first Hong Kong musician to hold a concert at the soon-to-open Kai Tak Main Stadium with a seating capacity of 50,000. Returning to the stage after a 25-year-long hiatus, Nicholas is set to delight audiences with back-to-back performances in April.
Nicholas Tse announced his ‘Evolution Nic Liv’ shows on social media with a teaser of him playing and singing at the venue. The singer’s upcoming concerts will be just days after Coldplay’s much-awaited performance at Kai Tak Stadium on April 8, 9, 11 and 12.

The shows will be held on April 25 and 26 at 7.30 pm at the Kai Tak Stadium. The tickets are priced at HKD 680, HKD 980, HKD 1180 and HKD 1380 and will go on sale soon. So, stay tuned for more updates.

Nicholas’ concert marks a historic milestone. He would be the first local artist to headline performances at the Kai Tak venue. His last major Hong Kong show was in 2000 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. With six sold-out shows in succession, Nicholas became the youngest male artist to perform at the venue.

The Kai Tak Sports Park, Hong Kong’s first multipurpose sports, entertainment and leisure hub, will officially open in March. With an area of around 28 hectares, the venue has a Main Stadium with a seating capacity of 50,000 spectators, an Indoor Sports Centre with 10,000 seats and a public sports ground with 5,000 seats.

The 2025 Hong Kong Sevens rugby will be the venue’s first event fully open to the public, set to take place from March 28 to 30. It’s one of the biggest sporting tournaments in the city, drawing the interest of local and international audiences alike.
